The Elderly Care program was designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to adequately and appropriately care for the vulnerable population
The Elderly Care program was designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to adequately and appropriately care for the vulnerable population of elderly citizens of the Caribbean. After a combination of lectures, discussions and student presentations, students are expected to apply the new skills they have learned in the practicum component of this course.

This course is designed for;

  • Individuals who are interested in providing basic health care to elderly people. 
  • Health care professionals looking to specialize in geriatric care.

Format & Schedule

Two (2) virtual 2-hour sessions a week over zoom (6 to 8PM) for 12 weeks
